As you step beyond the Open Water Diver level, you’ll dive five times over two or more days. At your instructor's discretion, you'll have the opportunity to experience underwater navigation, night diving, deep diving, digital underwater photography, wreck diving and much more. Plus, the Advanced Open Water Diver course takes you one step closer to Master Scuba Diver – the ultimate recreational diving rating.

The Adventures in Diving program offers both the Adventure Diver and Advanced Open Water Diver certifications. Midland Dive Association offers ½ price for rentals.
You need to complete any three adventure dives to earn your PADI Adventure Diver certification.
If you complete your Deep Adventure Dive, Underwater Navigation Adventure Dive and three Adventure Dives for a total of five, you can earn your Advanced Open Water Diver certification. You may also get college credit for this course.
Each Adventure Dive in the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course may credit toward the first dive of the corresponding PADI Specialty Diver course. Adventure Dive options include:
